ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani phoned Chief of the Army Staff General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani and congratulated him on the successful operation against the terrorism, Geo News reported Sunday.
The PM also discussed with him about the operation at GHQ and said the government and people of Pakistan are with their armed forces and quite resolute for the elimination of the terrorism.
Moreover, the PM offered condolences to the Pak Army personnel and officers martyred in the GHQ operation, saying nation is proud of their sons.
