ISLAMABAD : Pakistan cricket team captain Younis Khan tendered his resignation to the Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board during the meeting of National Assembly standing committee on sports on Tuesday. PCB Chairman Ejaz Butt has accepted the resignation.
Younis Khan said summoning the national team captain in such proceedings was an insult.
The lower house body on sports had summoned the national team Captain Younis Khan and the cricket board chairman Ejaz Butt after Pakistan’s defeat in Champions Trophy semifinal.
