Quaid Trophy kicks off at different centers

LAHORE: The domestic first class cricket tournament Quaid-e-Azam Trophy has kicked off at different centers across country on Saturday, Geo news reported.

Two matches of the beginning round of the tournament were shifted from Peshawar to Islamabad and Rawalpindi due to deadly bomb blast that ripped through Peshawar market on Friday morning.

Top cricket stars of the country will be seen in action amid tournament while as many as total 20 teams belonging from different institutes, departments and regions will be competing in tournament.

20 teams have been parted in two groups and the final showdown will be on December 24, sources said.
